Frequently Asked Questions

Is Stemwave therapy safe?

Yes. Stemwave is a true form of shockwave therapy that has been used in medicine for decades and is considered very safe when performed by a trained provider. It is non-invasive, meaning there are no injections or surgery. Most patients experience little to no downtime and can return to normal activities the same day.

How long will it take for shockwave treatments to work?

Most people notice improvement within the first session.  However, the initial treatment plan is designed for gradual improvement and long-lasting results.  Patients start out with two sessions per week for the first two weeks, then taper to once a week, and then every two weeks.

How long will the results last?

Results can be long-lasting because shockwave therapy works by stimulating your body’s natural healing process, not just masking symptoms. Many patients experience continued improvement for months after completing care. How long results last depends on factors like the condition being treated, how long you’ve had it, your activity level, and how well the area is supported during healing. Our goal is lasting relief by helping your body repair the tissue — not short-term fixes.

What if I have more than one area that needs care?

Pain rarely shows up in just one place. That’s why we map each area individually.

Diagnostic Mapping is $49 per area, and up to two areas can be evaluated in a single session.

If more than two areas need attention, we’ll walk you through cost-effective multi-site care options before moving forward.
